So what’s this website for?
So why do we need a website for a once-a-year event? And why do we need our own? Well, this site is our fundraising point person. We as an office have a goal of raising $25,000.00 for charity this year, and this site is going to be one way we’ll do it. In addition to keeping you posted on how we’re doing at reaching our goal, we’ll also show you pictures of the badass jerseys Lisa designed for us to wear in the ride, with the logos of our sponsors prominently displayed.
How prominently displayed? Well it depends on how generous you get. Just like real estate, marketing is only about three things: location, location, location. The more you give, the bigger and better your location on our jerseys will be. For a large enough donation, Jeff has promised to get a tattoo with your company’s logo across his entire back and ride shirtless for the whole day!
Okay, that was a joke. He’ll only tattoo a bicep. But we are designing custom jerseys for our whole team to wear, and they will feature our sponsors prominently. And this site will also feature those sponsors, as a way of saying thanks for caring.
Because your donations are what this site is all about. That and the stories. If you’re giving money, or riding in the event, let me know why. Tell me what it means to you. Tell me who you’re riding or donating for, or what has inspired you. Because the more personal the stories, the more more it matters. And the more it matters, the more money we can raise to fight this stupid disease.
